Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Kahuzi Biega National Park
Depending on the location of your Pick up, Considering that most eastern lowland gorillas start from Kigali international Airport which is located 8 hours drive to connect to Bukavu’s city in Eastern Congo. You will drive via Nyungwe forest national park and you will have lunch enroute in Nyungwe hill top lodge, Connect to Bukavu city with dinner and overnight at Orchids Safari Lodge / Hotel Begonaisa.
Day2: Eastern Lowland Gorilla Trekking
After morning breakfast, you will transfer to Kahuzi Biega National Park located in eastern congo which is the only destination known for hosting the eastern lowland gorillas and is open for watching experiences including gorilla trekking & Habituation . The drive from Bukavu to the park headquarter is one hour and half , Upon arrival at the park , you will enjoy tea as you enjoy briefying about the gorilla trekking rules and regulations and later enter into the jungle to search for the gorillas .
For Gorilla trekking it will be one hour with the gorillas in the wild.
For Gorilla Habituation it will be four hours stay with the gorillas in the magic lowland & mountains of Kahuzi and Biega.
After Gorilla Watching you will drive back to Bukavu and check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day3:Transfer to Kigali for late Night Flight back home.
After Morning breakfast at the lodge, you will transfer back to kigali via Rusizi border and start on the 8 hours journey to connect to Kigali . Lunch will be Enroute .
